4. Services and Booking

4.1 Service Description

Silk Trellis offers various styling services, including but not limited to personal styling, wardrobe audits, event styling, and virtual styling consultations. Detailed descriptions of our services are available on our website.

4.2 Booking and Appointments

When booking our services:

  • All appointments are subject to stylist availability
  • Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of payment or deposit (as applicable)
  • We require a minimum of 48 hours' notice for appointment rescheduling
  • Appointments may be conducted in person or virtually, as agreed upon booking

4.3 Service Delivery

We strive to deliver our services with the highest level of professionalism and expertise. However, styling is subjective, and while we make every effort to provide recommendations that suit your preferences, we cannot guarantee that you will be satisfied with all aspects of our service.

5. Payment Terms

5.1 Fees and Payment

The fees for our services are as listed on our website or as quoted to you directly. All fees are in British Pounds (GBP) unless otherwise specified.

Payment methods accepted include credit/debit cards, bank transfers, and other payment methods as specified on our website. All payments are processed through secure third-party payment processors.

5.2 Deposits

For certain services, we require a non-refundable deposit to secure your booking. The deposit amount will be specified during the booking process and will be deducted from the total service fee.

5.3 Price Changes

We reserve the right to adjust our pricing at any time. Any price changes will not affect already confirmed bookings.

6. Cancellation and Rescheduling

6.1 By the Client

Our cancellation policy is as follows:

  • Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment may be eligible for a full refund (excluding non-refundable deposits)
  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment will incur a fee of 50% of the service cost
  • No-shows or cancellations on the day of the appointment will be charged the full service fee

6.2 Rescheduling

Appointments may be rescheduled with a minimum of 48 hours' notice at no additional cost, subject to stylist availability. Rescheduling requests made with less than 48 hours' notice may incur a fee of 25% of the service cost.

6.3 By Silk Trellis

In the rare event that we need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, we will provide as much notice as possible and offer either a full refund or the option to reschedule at no additional cost.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Content

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, audio, video, and software, is the property of Silk Trellis or our content suppliers and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7.2 Limited License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use our Services and Content for personal, non-commercial purposes. This license does not include:

  • The right to reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works based on our Content
  • The right to use any data mining, robots, or similar data gathering methods
  • Any resale or commercial use of our Services or Content
  • The collection and use of user listings or descriptions

7.3 Client Materials

You retain all rights to any content you submit, post, or display on or through our Services, including photographs taken during styling sessions. However, by providing content to us, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, modify, publicly display, publicly perform, and distribute that content in connection with our Services.

We will obtain your explicit permission before using any identifiable images of you for marketing or promotional purposes.

8. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

8.1 Service Disclaimer

Our Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Silk Trellis makes no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the operation or availability of the Services.

8.2 Styling Advice

While we provide professional styling advice based on our expertise, we cannot guarantee that all recommendations will suit your personal taste or requirements. Style is subjective, and our advice should be considered as professional opinion rather than definitive guidance.

8.3 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Silk Trellis shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

  • Your use or inability to use our Services
  • Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein
  • Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from our Services
  • Any bugs, viruses, trojan horses, or the like that may be transmitted to or through our Services

In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for using our Services during the 12 months preceding your claim.
